Over three yeas, the improvement is 100% attributable to better makeup technique and better photographic technique. No surgery and no hormones were used in the creation of this beautiful woman.

Score one for practice makes perfect.

BTW her cleavage us achieved with bras....no implants there.

That is an awesome transformation. I must say it gives me hope on my make up, I have improved but want to take it up a notch

I edited the post to provide a link to abby’s tumblr page. Lots of good stuff there as well as advice. Abby is a straight CD.

Got that right! practice and more of it wow!
I liked the eyes as she did fill in the creases with dark liner to form the cat eye... Nicely done!

I'm curious as to how those people would look if you confronted them in real life. I know the camera and filters available can make a person look good. And it the makeup is right then I can make it look really good. I heard they have makeup specifically for being photographed, but in real life without the filters, lighting, posing, etc, would that person still look good? Or would it look like some of the women we see who wear too much makeup and it ends up looking clownish? What do they call it, the Instagram Reality or something like that. I would really love to be able to accomplish something like they have. Even if it's just for pictures.

There has been some great suggestions and there are a couple of names leading in the polls, (one of which i really like) but there is no doubt now that on the 28th I'll finally have my name i can use, and i am so glad i did it this way.

I believe in practice, practice, practice but i would take that a step further and say.. Perfect practice makes perfect. I think most gurls struggle with the same problem (i know i do). If need to have a professional makeup artist help when it come to picking the right makeup for you. If you don't have the right shades, colour etc... all the practice in the world isn't going to make it perfect. Now finding the professional that's CD friendly and also where you don't have to go into a public store for that one on one consolation ...well that's whole different story lol.

I did that about three months ago. I went and seen a CD/TG friendly makeup artist, and did learn a lot in the comfort of her studio. She even let me record the whole session so i can watch it over and over as i work on my application. it only cost about 90.00 for 90 minutes of her efforts and she supplied all the makeup. I'm tempted to post the whole video on here as a laugh but i can think of better uses of almost 2GB of data uploaded to the site instead of my mug getting worked on lol. Casandra suggested taking classes and i'm looking into that. The hard part will be in attending a group as possibly the only male and having to deal with the ribbing and teasing i'll get. But your right, practice, practice, and taking the advise of those who know what they're doing.

You would think a makeup/beauty school would need subjects their students can practice on. As a kid I got free haircuts at barber school. What better if a group of males show up. Student who transforms her dummy into a female gets an A.

If only, though it would be a very good test of the more advanced students to perform. Working on a male's face, especially if they are older, would definitely be a challenge.

If you look at the schools web pages they do ask for persons to come in and model for makeup artists but rarely as they tend to work on each other. There are night school classes that do this and modeling agencies that ask for make up artists to bring a model in to show what they can do... many are theatrical make up artists!. So that maybe a good place to try...

We have a family friend who does theatrical and movie make up. She regularly posts drag queen stuff. She will be at the family wedding this weekend so I will ask a few questions on how/where she learned to transform men if there is time and an opening.

Good Luck Carli. They love a new challenge and seldom refuse an offer of a new face to makeover! I hope you get some pretty face time when there...?

Ask Charlene brave girl... she goes in with little or no makeup on and gets done up by the Artists!
They love her and she has done this frequently!
Again the gals at MAC will never turn you away even while dressed en drab...

The girls at mac are great. I have learned a lot from them and have come along way with my makeup. They treat me like any other woman. Plus it's great to get pampered and as they do your makeup they teach you.

I always wondered what she looked like before.

Definitely a lot of practice and it clearly works when you do.

My biggest problem with makeup is that my eye lashes hold up my droopy eyelids. I have no crease and the skin is so pliant that I cannot form a solid point to start from. I have searched high and low on the net to find a way to make my eyes up but the best I found said to focus on the lashes and brows and to forget the rest of the eye makeup :(
