Something really annoyed my wife yesterday. We've both discussed and she seemed happy with my crossdressing and my being bi. We went on a shopping trip. Not the first time and she's usually really cool about it. I was wearing a blouse, cardigan, nice cropped trousers and feminine sandals. Painted nails, jewelry and for the first time some very light makeup. Not passable but obviously dressed effeminate. All was great for shopping. Then we stopped for brunch. Again all was well until the bill arrived. A very young and very sweet waitress said "will you be paying separately?" I said "No". We paid and left. But I could tell that my wife was annoyed so I asked her about it. She agreed she was and it was because she thought the waitress had looked at me and had assumed we weren't a couple. I reassured her that it was probably a sign of the times and the waitress probably asked this of all couples. Do you think I'm in trouble?
