Pantyhose and stockings review thread

i have tried many brands, i now stick to Hue, from the bay , they last longer, keep there shape and soooo smooth and the open toe ones are great for wearing with sandals
 
Hmm, never tried those. If I ever have to buy any again I will give them a shot.

I love Hue’s French cut reinforced panty variety. Their seams are pretty nice too. Never tried open toed.
 
I'm not a fan of pantyhose - don't have a single pair - but LOVE stockings. A few days ago I was at Sears and they had a sale on Hanes Silk Reflection lace top thigh highs. Package says "wicking cool comfort leg" and I couldn't believe how soft, silky and comfortable they are. Also the size was EF - which made them very long - just the way I like them - don't like short stockings at all.

I agree on length...nothing worse than trying a new brand and finding it just covering your knee . I have some stay ups but find in general they don’t.
 
I found wearing stay-ups with a garter uncomfortable as the stay-up elastic seemed to be counter productive to the movement of the stocking with garters. To solve that issue if I'm wearing stay-ups with a garter I wear the stockings inside out - so the elastic top doesn't interfere with movement allowed by the garter.
 
I first thought it was a tattoo. Very nice and clean design.

I saw this on Amazon while searching for wig tape they make a light adhesive spray that will work to keep your thigh highs thigh high all day. That would be awesome for sex, as they would not start rolling down on you as the action starts heating up. I love keeping them on and pulled up fully when "engaged" ;).
 
I could do separate reviews for every type of Cervin stocking but no point...they are all great. I get mine from Shapings.com in Burlington, Ontario. I think they are all available from Betty’s in BC.

Imported from France, Cervin have to be considered premium luxurious stockings. The full fashion stockings (FFS....seamed and reinforced with a key hole behind the upper thigh) are stuff dreams are made of. They are very expensive and if you run a pair, its a major tragedy.

A good alternate is the Seduction Couture stocking, which is very similar to the FFS but is less than half the price. Its hard to tell the difference between these and a FFS when they are on and both feel divine on the leg..

I also like their single and multi-colour traditional reinforced heel and toe (RHT) stockings.

The good thing about Cervin is that the stockings are very durable. The biggest risk in getting a run is when putting them on or taking them off (rather like take off and landing being the highest risks in air travel). Invest in a cheap pair of hosiery gloves and you won’t regret it. Shapings sells them.

Cervin goes up to size 6 and this size fits my size 13 woman’s foot perfectly and pulls up well over half way up my thigh to my crotch. I am 6’ tall, so short stockings are always a risk when trying new brands. Cervin size 6 removes that problem.

Finally, very few things in the world will make you feel as feminine as pulling on a traditional nylon stocking and clipping it to a garter belt or corset.

The best stockings I have found so far.

I agree but my priorities keep being flipped around; shoes, dresses, hosiery - there are just too many beautiful sexy things seen on here. I can now understand why there is no monthly charge to be a member of this site, who has any money left to do so when they see all the nice things on here to buy, lol.

While they are not very glossy when worn, you can’t beat the price and they are very durable. They also feel wonderful on. The reinforced panty is quite tight and tummy controlling and there are reinforcements at the toes...but these are not overly opaque and don’t really show a lot. Comes in 4 shades including nude, black, taupe and beige. On line reviews seem to show concerns re. Durability but I haven’t seen that.

Wolford makes some amazing hosiery if you can afford them. Have some really cool patterns and they're fairly durable from what I understand I first noticed them on a girl friend of mine I said why I really like your tights and she said they were like 8 years old. They are those dark heavy dernier opaque style probably around 80 black tights with sort of a metallic Sheen to it. I think she said she paid $70 for them but they have lasted 8 years. They hugged her legs so nicely.
 
Just tried these from Shoppers. First time and I am impressed. They are 20 den which worried me a bit but they seem quite sheer to wear. They are also good for disquising light leg hair for those of use who don’t or can’t shave. They have bit of compression, which feels nice, and a touch of gloss. They are also very durable which makes them a good alternative to Secret’s other lines reviewed above. These go for about 2/3 the cost of Secret glossy for e.g.

The one site really stood out because they had the nylons all hanging off clothes hangers nice and clean and there had to have been at least 20 to 30 pairs of them. All at $2 each. Of course, me being the dick I am, asked if they belonged to the Misses, kinda implying they may have been his lol.

These 15 den glossy hose are reasonably priced for Italian imports. Not as glossy as some but enough to look dressy and feel special. Quite durable. I have worn the same pair ten times before a run, and I am not always careful. They fit well....C works for me and I am 6’ 220 lbs. Size D pulls up almost to my nipples. Colours are: black; nude; natural. I prefer the latter.

I found some new stock at the Dollar Store couple days ago - very nice texture/silky for $3.00 each. I will need to go through my recycling basket to find the Brand. If I forget - someone reminde me please as they are very nice - A name brand would be $10.00 +

I think all the "buck" stores have lots of Halloween supplies in at this moment, and for some reason fishnet stockings are a plenty as part of this. Hmmm.....
