Loving the dual purpose lipstick - mascara products

So as I get a little older (and sexier like we all are) I have noticed that my skin “accepts” make-up differently than when my skin was like butter. If you have not tried it yet the new to me, dual purpose eye / lips products are super creamy, apply smoothly and stay looking light and not cakey. No I am not using this particular one on my lips; it is great for Smokey eyes. The pinks and reds colours also work great for blush. I feel like my face is more radiant and where my traditional make up would be flatter and absorb light this stuff bounces light softening some of my guy features.

Love to read your thoughts if you are also doing this approach!

Hadn't seen those yet. Thanks for sharing. I use a similar stick blush that goes on the lips, cheeks (the upper ones ;)) and eyes.

As for the rest, I still do the whole moisturizer-foundation-filler-powder routine. I use two versions of a multi-ceramide moisturizer, one for daytime and one for nighttime. I'm surprised at how well they work. My skin is slowly returning to a smoother state, despite my advanced age...lol

Love the routine girl. It is amazing how the skin can bounce back. I use eminence night oil on my face and lubriderm and aveeno mist combo on my body.

The best way to tone one's face and body skin if from the inside out. I have been researching various aspect of medicine out of the box since 81, starting with specific potentially health issues. Off to the library and the first thing I studied was nutrition and specific nutritional supplements.
Moving on to improving one's skin when we get older assuming one eats somewhat healthy as opposed to 90%+junk food - Yep there are a few out there. Oral vitamin C supplementation is the base foundation for rough or wrinkled skin. The daily dosage would be 500 mg 4x/day with or without food. If someone wants so know what brand I have been using send a pvt message as I don't feel comfortable mentioning otherwise.
