Dare to try?

I can't even remember that last time that i was hung-over? Usually i just went & ate McDonalds and it cured me right up lol! The cost of everything having gone up, i tend to drink at home and even then it's rare that i get drunk.....just too expensive! How people can afford to stay out in bars anymore is beyond me lol!
 
As was said earlier I haven't got drunk for quite a long time, though I have a couple drinks a week. It's not the cost, but at times it seems to throw my stomach if I have more than a couple at one go, then of course there's the calories.

What is your version of a Skinny Bitch? Never heard of it before, rather than look it up, your version 1st would be great.

Soda, an ounce of vodka, grenadine, a lime and a straw. Last week I was served with a little umbrella, which somehow ended up in my hair, lol.

Ya the sugar in some of these will put the weight on. And what a lot of people don't know is that one's liver converts alcohol directly to fat. Note: The least amount of Carbs per drink(legal) is red wine then white wine/both normal dry types. Beer is the worst. And normal hard liquor has zero carbs - Ad mix and a totally different story. For twenty years my favorite drink was Brandy of the 80 Proof kind. One from france and the other from California. The one from California was special - It was very lightly oaked and is kind of a blondish colour and tasted quite good. Back in the day my favorite Cognac was Remy Martin(spelling?) Got too expensive though - Now about $110/750 ml in BC. From time to time I do like a decent Silver Tequila perhaps once a year or two. For some reason the Gold Tequila makes my stomach roll with even half an ounce, no idea why as the only difference is that it is Oaked - Other Oaked hard liquor does not do this to me. Back in the day I use to like a very dark/black Rum called Coruba I believe, Black as black can be and it had a viscosity that was noticeable. It had a rock solid dark Rum taste and have not seen it in over 20 years now. The most potent was Everclear at 190 Proof. 3 shots and my throat started to swell up, felt like a large pea in there - and near pissed within 10 minutes. That stuff is dangerous. Woops, here I go again si time to stop🤣

No worry, the Grenadine is very light, the colour of the drink is almost transparent. I asked for it to add a touch of sweetness.

There used to be a coloured layered rum drink - Zombie I believe. If I remember right it had at least 5 layers of 1,5 ounces of different coloured rum amd looked quite pretty. Back in the 70's a buddy and myself drank 3 of these in kinda short order and this was a new meaning of getting pissed - Result, never again. Also the provincial government banned this drink due to the amount of legal drinks in it. Likely still available with more reasonable amounts of rum involved. Note: As one might expect it tasted terrible as no mix allowed back then.

Sounds harsh. And your description was fun to read. I haven't been that drunk since a long long time ago, .... 🙂.
